Funding Rate

Funding rates are a key mechanism for keeping long and short positions balanced. They are settled hourly between the two sides.

• Rate Calculation: MC Markets' system calculates and updates the Funding Rate every minute, displaying it in real time. This lets users track market sentiment and anticipate potential funding costs.

• Settlement Frequency: Funding rates are settled once every hour, on the hour. The system uses the rate at that exact point to determine the funding rate.

This design balances transparency with efficiency for a simple and stable fee handling.
