Collateral Management

MC Markets provides flexible collateral tools that let users fully leverage their assets for trading while maintaining security.

Deposit

Users can deposit supported crypto assets (BTC, ETH, SOL, USDT, USDC) at any time. Once credited, the system automatically applies MC Markets’ haircut (discount rate) to value the assets and counts them toward available margin.

Effective Collateral

This is the total value of all collateral assets after haircut adjustments. It represents the margin available to open and maintain positions. The value updates in real time to reflect changes in market prices and discount rates.

Adjust and Redeem

Any unlocked assets in the account can be transferred or redeemed at any time. The process is fully internal to the platform, instant, and free of blockchain confirmation delays or fees.
